Clinical Operations Manager – Pediatric OR The clinical manager of operations combines clinical experience and contemporary leadership practices to achieve excellent outcomes. Accountable for translating and achieving our strategic priorities—quality and safety improvements, care affordability, great patient experiences, and great team member experiences—this role provides strategic vision and operational planning for the assigned unit. Incumbents will lead an interprofessional team to create an environment where the team is empowered to achieve excellence in patient and organizational outcomes. This role is accountable for advancing nursing practice by advocating and consistently embedding evidence‑based practices and professional nursing standards. The unit is operational and staffed 24 x 7, including weekends and holidays. This is a fully onsite role, Monday‑Friday day shift at Riley Hospital, with availability for evening and weekend rounds and on‑call rotation. Previous leadership experience and OR experience are strongly preferred. Key Relationships Reports to: Clinical Operations Director Direct Reports: 140 staff, split with the Assistant Manager (70) Key Relationships: Pre‑Op, Post‑Op, Sterile Processing, Emergency Department Candidate Qualifications Requires a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN). If the bachelor’s degree is not in nursing, an Master of Nursing (MSN) is required. Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred. Specialty certification related to nursing practice or leadership is preferred. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. Required Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
