Golden Rule Hospice is seeking a FULL-TIME Registered Nurse for our On-Call Team; Monday - Thursday. Primary coverage area will be Cherokee, Pickens, Lumpkin, Dawson, Forsyth, Hall, North Fulton and North Gwinnett counties. The ideal candidate wants to join a phenomenal hospice team, enjoy working in home care and have a passion for end-of-life care. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Georgia.
• Current resident of Georgia.
• One year of hospice or home health experience, preferable.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Reliable transportation with appropriate insurance coverage
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)

REGISTERED NURSE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assesses and reassesses the nursing needs of the Hospice patient.
• Communicate and collaborate with the answering service and hospice team members.
• Provides Hospice nursing services, treatments, and preventive procedures.
• Initiates nursing procedures appropriate for the patient’s Hospice care and safety.
• Observes signs and symptoms and reports to the physician and IDG members any unexpected changes in the patient’s physical or emotional condition.
• Teaches and counsels the Hospice patient and family members about providing care for the patient.
