Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Accounting: Provide comprehensive accounting support, including reconciliations, preparing adjusting journal entries, and executing the month-end close process.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain and manage multiple client relationships simultaneously, acting as a high-touch point of contact.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and review financial statements, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
- Advisory & Coaching: Coach clients on the effective use of QuickBooks Desktop/Online and support or participate in broader business advisory engagements.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal team members to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality service.
- Tax Support: Utilize tax preparation experience to assist the firm during tax season.
- Experience: 5+ years of recent experience in a CPA or business advisory firm (required).
- Client Experience: Demonstrated experience working directly with small to mid-sized business clients.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks Online/Desktop (certification preferred).
- Work Environment: Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a dedicated home office.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, along with an entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to grow within the firm.
