Granite City Processing (formerly Heidtman Steel) is growing, and we’re looking for experianced, motivated individuals to join our 2nd shift team. If you have experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, material handling or, you’re eager to learn, this is a great opportunity to build a long-term career with a company that truly values its people. Wages start at $20.51/hour, plus shift differential of $1.50 on 2nd shift. In addition to the hourly wages we also have a monthly production incentive bonus!

Competitive Pay & Bonuses

• Starting wage: $20.51/hr
• Production Incentive Bonus: 2025 average was 15.13% (approximately $3.10/hr extra )on a base wage of $20.51.
• Shift Premiums: 2nd shift: +$1.50/hr, 3rd shift: +$1.00/hr

Job Type: Full-time

Wage: $20.51 /hour plus shift differential and monthly incentive.

You should be computer-literate to maintain the associated production documents. Experience driving a forklift, overhead crane, material handler, and steel handler experience is desired. This is a physically demanding job which requires standing, bending, twisting, stooping, and the ability to move up to 20 lbs.

Prior experience in machine operation and/or steel manufacturing experience is preferred for Slitter Opportunities; prior experience operating steel slitter machines is a bonus.
