Responsibilities Participates in the preparation for, and the setup of, individual trays for food distribution. Sets-up for meal service, takes food orders, serves residents and cleans ladies lounge and Tarr dining rooms. Operates dishwashing machine, food disposal, toaster and heat on demand unit. Assists with the passing of trays, collecting of trays and cleaning the tables and chairs on the LEDU units, Welch units and areas served for guest meal service. Stocks all work areas and unit kitchenettes. Cleans all floor areas in dining rooms, kitchen and dishwashing areas. May be involved in cooking or otherwise preparing foods as directed by cook, chef, or dietary management team. Exercises responsibility for training new employees. Performs extra cleaning assignments as directed by shift leaders or dietary management team. May be involved in procedures for receiving, documenting, and tray preparation relating to both regular and special diets.
