Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job

Overview Registered Nurse, ICU specialty, travel assignment in Atlanta, Georgia, starting 08/17/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,548–$1,605 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Night, 12-hour shifts with a 2x3 rotation. Setting: hospital-level ICU float pool covering critical care floors, ER and ER holds as needed, with potential assignments to MTC/Step-Down and PACU holds if required. This assignment requires BLS and ACLS, EPIC EMR experience, and a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience in a facility of similar size. Key Highlights

Responsibilities

• Float to all ICU critical care floors, ER, ER hold (if actual ER patients are assigned), and, if needed, MTC/Step-Down/PACU holds
• Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care for critically ill patients, including ongoing monitoring, assessments, and timely interventions
• Administer medications, manage lines, drains, and tubes per protocol; support ventilated patients as applicable
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the broader multidisciplinary team; participate in care planning and handoffs
• Document accurately in the EPIC EMR; monitor patient response and adjust care plans accordingly
• Uphold safety, infection control, and pain management standards; respond promptly to clinical changes and escalation as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years ICU experience in a facility of similar size
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Ability to float across ICU, ER, MTC/Step-Down, and PACU as needed
• Willingness to work a night shift and participate in a travel assignment
