Work Environment\n

As a remote outpatient facility, our team collaborates effectively to provide care that meets the unique needs of our patients. Utilizing a digital workspace, counselors will engage with clients through telehealth sessions and maintain communication with colleagues via accessible platforms. Our practice operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patients needing evening or additional scheduling adjustments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand the complexities of each patient's condition and identify their specific therapeutic needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are evidence-based and tailored to the unique requirements of individuals, couples, and families.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to achieve effective patient outcomes.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that foster community, address shared concerns, and enhance the understanding of mental health issues.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring patients receive timely and appropriate care.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and pertinent community resources to reinforce that support system.

• Maintain careful, confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required; advanced degrees (Master's or Doctorate) are preferred.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
