Senior Project Manager

Job Opportunity

Location: Urbandale, IA

Duration: 6 Months

Responsibilities

• Manage and support work streams within a program of work, ensuring strategy and execution are performed to completion in accordance with the overall work stream vision.
• Accountable for the delivery of successful transitions and integration, managing direct and indirect resources across geographically dispersed locations.
• Interact with local and regional level senior stakeholders, driving objectives to conclusion with minimal oversight and direction.
• Communicate to key management colleagues and team members the multiple project activities across regions or functions.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects and programs.
• Select and utilize project implementation documentation including implementation toolkits and migration schedules.
• Support the facilitation of projects by escalating risk and its impact on business initiatives to management within the organization.
• Design and create strategic documents such as Project Business cases, Assessments, Communication plans, and detailed project plans.
• Provide support and lead in the decision-making process required for progress on assigned programs/projects.
• Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making on key project items.
• Proactively follow and adhere to project controls for assigned projects.
• Identify and resolve issues; manage project/program deliverables, manage and mitigate risk, escalate issues to management, and ensure change control process for assigned projects and programs across functions are functioning and aligned.

Requirements

• Experience in major change initiatives with a proven record of delivery of major projects.
