Overview
Radiology Tech – CT specialty travel assignment in Sonora, California. Start date 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,119–$2,237 per week with guaranteed hours of 36. Shift: 3x12-hour days (7:00 AM–7:00 PM). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This is a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images used for diagnosis; perform related imaging procedures as needed, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
- Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the appropriate location while maintaining patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
- Maintain accurate records, files and billing information; manage image data integrity.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment and manage supply inventory.
- Demonstrate professional patient care across the age range from adolescents to geriatrics; participate in procedure preparation and positioning as required.

Requirements
- Active ARRT registration in Radiography and CT: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT); CT certification required.
- California Radiologic Technologist license; licensed to practice in CA; California Department of Public Health licensure required for day shift.
- Advanced CT certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
- Fluoroscopy license in California required if operating fluoroscopy equipment.
- Venipuncture certification preferred.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
- Experience: At least two years of recent radiology experience.
- Additional state-specific licensing requirements may apply; current nursing license per state of assignment.
