Encore Digital Controllership Senior Consultant
Help finance leaders modernize the controllership function and strengthen how finance supports the business. As an Encore Digital Controllership Senior Consultant in Deloitte’s Finance Transformation practice, you will work with CFOs, controllers, and finance executives to address accounting, data, process, and technology challenges. You will help clients implement digital finance solutions that improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and support business performance.

Work you'll do
As a Senior Consultant on the Controllership and Treasury Transformation team, you will be responsible for helping clients improve finance operations through process, data, and technology transformation.
Support client engagements focused on controllership, finance transformation, and digital finance modernizationGather requirements, map business processes, and support solution design, testing, and deploymentImplement or optimize finance platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Workiva, and BlackLineDevelop accounting data models, reporting structures, and analytics to improve financial insightContribute to proposals, practice initiatives, and day-to-day client delivery

The team
Our Controllership and Treasury Transformation offering modernizes the finance function to align with the evolving business objectives of organizations. We collaborate with CFOs, CAOs, controllers, and treasurers to develop an efficient, high-quality, data-driven, and tech-enabled controllership and treasury function. This empowers our clients to deliver greater value to their business partners and investors.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Science3+ years of experience in accounting, controllership, financial planning and analysis, or cost accounting3+ years of experience with requirements gathering, business process mapping, or full life cycle implementation for enterprise resource planning systems, finance platforms, or boundary applicationsExperience with one or more of the following: SAP, SAP Performance and Profitability Management, SAP Profitability and Cost Management, Oracle, Oracle Profitability and Cost Management, CostPerform, Workday, Workiva, BlackLine, Alteryx, Microsoft SQL Server, Tableau, or Power BIProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPointAbility to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred:
Master's degree in Business, Information Systems, Accounting, or FinanceExperience supervising and executing technology life cycle activities using project management and testing methodologiesCertified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Accountant, Certified Cost Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, or Financial Risk Manager certification, or progress toward one of these credentialsKnowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, International Financial Reporting Standards, Securities and Exchange Commission rules and regulations, managerial accounting, cost accounting, and profitability analysisExperience with reporting tools, big data tools, machine learning tools, or data visualization toolsExperience leading a project workstream within Record to Report or Order to Cash
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $116,200 to $229,100.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
