Enterprise Sales Account Executive

Location: Bethpage, NY 11714; Hawthorne, NY 10514; Bronx, NY 10532; Brooklyn, NY 10473; Long Island City, NY 11236; Stamford, CT 06902; Bridgeport, CT 06604 Job Summary The Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for selling Optimum® products and services to enterprise companies, including opening new accounts and maintaining existing accounts as assigned. Responsibilities Sell coax‑based Internet, Voice and TV to enterprise businesses to achieve and exceed monthly quotas. Conduct daily activities to establish new customer relationships each week while developing revenue opportunities with the existing customer base. Deepen existing customer relationships through upgrades and additional service opportunities with named accounts to meet monthly sales targets. Process marketing leads for new opportunities with mid‑market non‑strategic accounts and prospects. Become familiar with and adept at presenting core products. Proactively stay informed about industry changes, new product offerings, and competitor actions. Attend required sales, product, and process training sessions and take personal responsibility for professional development. Attend all meetings directed by supervisor or management. Submit weekly sales forecasts, expense reports, call reports, and other required reports on time. Consistently and completely utilize Salesforce.com and related database tools, entering all sales activity daily. Work with Operations to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to an overall positive atmosphere at Optimum. Work in an atmosphere of trust and integrity with fellow employees to contribute to Optimum’s overall success. Follow company guidelines and proactively seek supervisor’s advice as needed. Qualifications College degree or relevant experience. Minimum of 2 years prior sales experience. Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and close sales opportunities consistently using a prescribed methodology. Highly organized, data‑driven, with accurate sales forecasting and ability to meet all sales goals with limited supervision. Proven ability to make professional presentations to customers and prospects, and to communicate complex technical issues in layman’s terms. Solid understanding of telecommunications and information technology concepts. Proven history of excellent customer service values and commitment. Reliable personal vehicle (where applicable), valid driver’s license, car insurance, and satisfactory driving record. Success Factors Ability to build rapport with commercial customers. Pay: The starting pay rate for this position in New York is $48,949.00 – $80,416.00 per year.
