Job Title: Production Associate Job Description

This direct placement role focuses on assembling radiators and radiator coils for copper piping systems in a clean, modern manufacturing environment. You will work from blueprints and work orders, use a variety of hand and power tools, and follow precise measurements to cut, assemble, and fasten components according to specifications. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to consistently produce high-quality work within established time frames while adhering to safety and quality standards.

• Assemble radiators and radiator coils for copper piping systems according to work orders and blueprints.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure assemblies meet exact specifications.
• Use hand and measuring tools, including tape measures, to cut, measure, and assemble products accurately.
• Apply screws and fasteners using drills and other power tools to secure metal brackets and components.
• Measure materials daily using a tape measure and verify dimensions throughout the assembly process.
• Operate basic fabrication and machine equipment as needed to support production activities.
• Complete assigned work within estimated time frames while maintaining high quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure products are produced on schedule and meet production goals.
• Communicate any machine issues, tooling problems, or production challenges to the lead or supervisor promptly.
• Participate in 5S activities, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a tidy work area.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
• Use required personal protective equipment, including steel-toe footwear, eye protection, and hearing protection.
• Perform basic quality checks and visual inspections to confirm products meet specifications.
• Stand for extended periods and safely lift materials and components as needed during the shift.

• At least 6 months of mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints for assembly work.
• Proficiency using a tape measure to take accurate measurements.
• Ability to cut, measure, and assemble products using a variety of hand tools and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude, with experience in mechanical assembly or similar hands-on roles.
• Ability to stand for 8–10 hours per day in a production environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly as required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate.
• Basic computer skills for accessing work orders or production information.
• Knowledge and proper use of personal protective equipment, including steel-toe footwear, ear protection, and eye protection.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Stable work history with consistent employment (non-jumpy resume).

• Experience in auto mechanics, construction, or other mechanically inclined roles.
• Ability to convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions (training and reference materials provided if needed).
• Experience in metal fabrication or metal joining processes.
• Experience with progressive metal stamping operations.
• Skill in performing quality inspections and using basic inspection tools.
• OSHA certification or other safety-related training.
• Experience in HVAC, metal fabrication, metal stamping, or related manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with brazing, mechanical assembly, and general mechanical work.
• Comfort using power tools and hand tools in a production setting.

This role is based in a modern manufacturing facility that is clean, well-organized, and equipped with up-to-date machinery. The environment is temperature-controlled, providing a comfortable setting for year-round production work. Employees work on the production floor using hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and fabrication equipment while following established safety procedures. Personal protective equipment, including steel-toe footwear, eye protection, and hearing protection, is required and consistently used. The facility supports a focused yet flexible atmosphere where employees may listen to music within defined safety guidelines, which are reviewed during orientation. Use of personal phones is restricted on the production floor to maintain safety and productivity. Shifts typically require standing for 8–10 hours and handling materials up to 50 pounds, reflecting an active, hands-on production environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Chaska, MN.

The pay range for this position is $47153.00 - $47153.60/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
