Job Details Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 9 weeks Hours per week: 36 Shift: 12-hour days Employment type: Travel Core Responsibilities Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients providing reassurance and support. Follow physician orders regarding areas of the body requiring imaging. Correctly position patients and adjust imaging equipment. Implement radiation safety precautions to minimize exposure. Calibrate imaging equipment. Prepare imaging results for physician review. Maintain accurate patient records. Operate the McKesson PACS system. Qualifications & Certifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. ARRT (R) National Certification. State-specific licensing when required. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
