Account Manager

The EU Account Manager (PRIMA Surgical Sales) is a field‑based commercial role responsible for driving adoption and utilization of the PRIMA retinal prosthesis system within key European accounts. The ideal candidate is a clinically credible, results‑driven surgical sales professional who thrives in operating room environments and can build trusted relationships with surgeons, KOLs, and hospital stakeholders. They are highly autonomous, comfortable managing complex accounts across multiple geographies, and excel at coordinating cross‑functional teams to deliver strong clinical outcomes and sustainable commercial growth in an early‑stage, fast‑moving MedTech environment. Role responsibilities: Serve as the primary commercial point of contact within PRIMA target accounts Willing/able to support PRIMA implants across Germany, Netherlands, Italy and broader EU market (as defined by commercial leader). Provide technical support during PRIMA implants/ cases, following completion of training and progression to independent support as appropriate Lead and manage site‑specific Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement, while supporting broader/ cross‑functional customer teams across new and existing target accounts Drive commercial/ procedure growth at the account level, including initiation, coordination, and ongoing support of patient identification, physician referral pathways, and related activities as required Partner closely with the vision rehabilitation team to coordinate rehabilitation for new patients, ensuring a high‑quality patient experience and optimal clinical outcomes Support relevant trade shows as assigned Key qualifications: 3+ years working medical device/ healthcare/Medtech industry 2+ years in surgical or implantable device sales Located in/around the Nord‑Rhein Westphalia region in Germany (willing to consider adjacent locations if able to travel). Experience working with and supporting regional or national KOLs Ability to converse in both English and German (additional languages a bonus) Ability to think creatively, solve problems and operate within a dynamic working environment Motivated self‑starter, with ability to operate independently Preferred qualifications: Experience working in the Ophthalmology space a bonus (especially experience in the posterior segment of the eye). Experience selling into tertiary and/or academic hospitals in Germany Experience supporting implant procedures in the operating room Science Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
