Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist

Bloomington, MN | Hybrid – 2 Days Remote $50,000–$64,000/year I’m working on a great AP/AR Specialist opportunity with a growing, privately held company in the renewable energy and agriculture space. This is a unique environment with a collaborative team, strong growth potential, and the opportunity to make an impact in a role that combines full-cycle AP and AR, GL support, and process improvement . Key Responsibilities: Manage high-volume accounts payable and accounts receivable , including approximately 150 invoices on each side Perform 2- and 3-way matching, invoice coding, posting, and transaction processing Process customer and vendor transactions while ensuring accuracy across multiple systems Support month-end close , including reconciliations and general ledger activity Review reports, identify discrepancies, and research issues through resolution Complete a high volume of manual data entry and work with operational/logistics systems Identify opportunities to improve processes and bring more efficiency to a growing organization Utilize Excel for reporting, data management, and reconciliation support What They're Looking For (requirements): 3+ years of full-cycle AP/AR experience Experience with GL activity, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close Strong attention to detail and the ability to catch discrepancies Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment Someone who is curious, analytical, and willing to question things when something doesn"t look right Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly Why Consider It?
