Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician specializing in Labor, Delivery, and Postpartum (LDRP) for a role in Bismarck, North Dakota. This position involves supporting vaginal and cesarean delivery cases within an acute care setting. The technician will work in a dynamic environment, providing assistance in various surgical procedures, and collaborating closely with nursing staff and management on shift.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with minimum of 40 hours per week. Shifts are typically from 0700-1500 or 1500-2300, with the manager responsible for scheduling.
• Required Qualifications: BLS Certification, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA Certificate or equivalent certification, UAP; must have a minimum of 1 year of experience. Valid North Dakota state licensure is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with vaginal and cesarean delivery cases, familiarity with EPIC charting system.
• Additional Information: The position entails clinical involvement in labor and delivery suites, floating to other areas such as the main operating room as needed. There is an on-call requirement every third weekend and two holidays annually. Floating to other areas is permitted to assist or provide safety coverage.
• Other Details: The role requires RTO requests to be made upfront with a maximum of 7 days off within a 13-week contract; additional time off requests will not be approved. The facility maintains a trauma level 2 designation.
