Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Stepdown for a travel assignment in Utica, NY. This role requires expertise in Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU), with a focus on delivering high-standard patient care in a dynamic environment. Candidates must be prepared to float as needed and navigate a variety of complex patient cases.

Key responsibilities of the RN Stepdown include:

• Provide care for patients with common diagnoses like neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions such as COPD, DKA, sepsis, and MI.
• Manage specialty equipment including temp pacers, chest tubes, A lines, and Bipap.
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy for chronic ventilation management.
• Adapt to flexible scheduling needs and assist across units as required.

Requirements of the RN Stepdown include:

• Active NY RN license & NURSYS report verification
• 2+ years of experience in IMCU/PCU
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Experience with EPIC EMR
