Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Job Summary:

• The APP would see adult and adolescent patients under physician supervision, assuming independent responsibility for patient care commensurate with his/her experience, training, and confidence.
• Experience is desirable, but we would consider a recent graduate with a strong background and an ability to work confidently and independently.
• Fluency in Portuguese is particularly valuable in Fall River, but not required.
• The APP will function as a member of an office-based patient-focused team.
• The candidate must be licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, hold a valid Drug Enforcement Agency certificate, and hold a Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration. Compassion, maturity, and excellent communication skills are essential.
• The practice uses eClinicalworks as its EMR for scheduling, documentation, and billing.
• The practice has the full support of specialists and testing facilities, which are all on-site and readily available. These include a full laboratory, radiology, cardiac and pulmonary testing, allergy, infectious diseases, etc.
