Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A permanent Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) position is available at a newly established specialty pharmacy in Las Vegas, focused on compounding operations that were previously outsourced. This specialty pharmacy concentrates on a limited portfolio of medications including GLP1s, allergy medications, and immunotherapies. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building the pharmacy team by hiring pharmacists and technicians.

Location: Henderson, NV (with a focus on Las Vegas area operations)

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the designated PIC ensuring full compliance with USP, FDA, and state pharmacy board regulations
• Oversee sterile compounding workflows, personnel management, and quality assurance programs
• Manage compliance with multi-state pharmacy regulations, especially California and other non-resident states
• Develop, maintain, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sterile compounding
• Hire, supervise, and train pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
• Coordinate pharmacy inspections, audits, and maintain regulatory readiness
• Oversee environmental monitoring, validation, and documentation initiatives
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and dispensing of compounded sterile preparations
• Collaborate with leadership on strategy, expansion, and licensing efforts
• Maintain accurate documentation and records to ensure continuous inspection readiness

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Nevada pharmacy license (California license highly preferred due to patient base)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in hospital, infusion, or specialty pharmacy practice
• Ability and willingness to obtain additional pharmacy licenses as needed
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in specialty pharmacy settings

This position offers excellent earning potential with an estimated base compensation around $170,000 annually plus $10,000 in incentives. After establishment in the role, a profit-sharing bonus structure is anticipated, ideal for candidates with an entrepreneurial mindset.
