Front of House- Team Leader Position Overview The Front of House Team Leader is responsible for leading successful shifts by setting clear expectations, solving problems in real time, and modeling Chick-fil-A values through action. As the primary Person in Charge (PIC) during assigned shifts, this role holds team members accountable to standards, coaches performance with clarity and respect, and ensures front-of-house operations run with excellence, urgency, and consistency. This leader plays a key role in developing people, protecting the guest experience, and representing Chick-fil-A Moscow with professionalism and care. Position Type Full-time and Part-time Benefits A positive, team-oriented work environment Flexible scheduling (closed on Sundays) Direct mentorship from an experienced Operator Intentional growth and leadership development Scholarship opportunities Competitive pay Key Responsibilities Front of House Leadership Lead and support Front-of-House Team Members throughout each shift Set the tone for hospitality, professionalism, and teamwork Reinforce policies, procedures, and Chick-fil-A standards consistently and fairly Coach Team Members in real time to improve performance and confidence Coordinate and manage team member breaks in compliance with labor laws Foster a welcoming, family-friendly environment for guests and team members Partner with Kitchen Leaders to ensure alignment between front and back of house Operations & Shift Execution Participate operationally in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment Ensure all front-of-house positions are staffed appropriately and adjusted as needed Monitor shift flow to maintain speed, accuracy, and organization Respond promptly and professionally to guest needs and concerns Open and/or close the restaurant and serve as a key holder when scheduled Count drawers, complete cash reconciliation, and finalize end-of-day procedures Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and brand standards across all guest-facing areas Cash & Financial Stewardship Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times Monitor register accuracy and address discrepancies professionally Demonstrate attention to detail through verification and recounting Ensure safe organization and counterfeit detection procedures are followed Professional Conduct Maintain a clean, polished, and professional appearance Lead with calm, emotional maturity—especially under pressure Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests, team members, and leaders Uphold the vision and direction of the Owner/Operator and Director team Maintain confidentiality and avoid gossip Qualifications & Requirements Strong people skills with a desire to serve and develop others Ability to lead in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Commitment to delivering excellent guest service Ability to manage team member performance and behavior appropriately Reliable transportation ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain) Completion of Safety & Security training pathways Working knowledge of restaurant policies and procedures (or willingness to learn) Prior leadership experience is preferred but not required Leadership & Expectations A positive, solution-focused mindset Strong communication skills Reliability and follow-through Humility and a servant’s heart Integrity and professionalism Initiative without being asked Openness to feedback and continuous growth Why This Role Matters As a Front of House Team Leader, you help establish the culture, standards, and reputation of Chick-fil-A Moscow from the very beginning.
