Work Environment

This role is based in our outpatient office in Fort Lauderdale, an area known for its beautiful beaches and vibrant community. You’ll work a standard schedule of 40 hours weekly, with some variability for weekend shifts depending on patient needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with functional limitations and disabilities, identifying physical issues and establishing treatment objectives.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on patient evaluations, incorporating physical modalities, therapeutic exercises, and education.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress, treatment sessions, and compliance with regulatory and reimbursement standards.
• Deliver expert consultation to other healthcare professionals concerning patient care continuity, ensuring seamless transitions in treatment.
• Engage in patient and caregiver education, providing clear instructions on home exercise programs and rehabilitation techniques.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, to discuss treatment efficacy and modify plans when necessary.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives that promote health and wellness while marketing our services to potential patients.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols and the organization's customer service standards.
• Take part in continuing education and professional development activities to enhance your skills and stay updated with the latest industry practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a part of our outpatient office, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and age-related conditions. Your role is crucial in helping patients regain mobility, strength, and functional independence through personalized rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or higher from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy, demonstrating compliance with Florida regulations.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to educate patients and collaborate with team members.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic medical record systems for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

Applicants should possess a minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in outpatient rehabilitation. Experience working with diverse patient populations and understanding various treatment modalities will be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
