Overview
Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in a hospital setting located in Rochester, New York. Start date: 09/14/2026 for 17 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,225–$2,330 per week. Shift: 12-hour shifts on a rotating D/E/N schedule with on-call/callback, variable holidays and weekends as needed. This travel assignment involves working in a high-volume OR that supports a wide range of specialties and procedures. Guaranteed hours: 0.

Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Scrub and circulate for a diverse case mix across multiple specialties
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and manage anesthesia support as appropriate
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure instrument/*surgical equipment readiness and turnover
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to optimize patient safety and outcomes
- Assist with telemetry monitoring when indicated and respond to intraoperative changes in patient condition
- Document accurately, comply with safety and regulatory standards, and support patient and family education as needed

Requirements
- Active New York RN license (NY state license only)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
- Minimum 2 years operating room experience, with Level 1 trauma center exposure required
- Ability to scrub and circulate in the OR
- Telemetry experience highly desirable
- ACLS certification preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced OR environment and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
