Position Details

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients spanning pediatric to geriatric age groups utilizing standardized assessments alongside observational methods.
• Create tailored treatment plans focusing on immediate and overarching communication, cognitive, and swallowing goals.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions concentrating on language, fluency, cognition, and swallowing techniques.
• Team up with occupational and physical therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to establish harmonious care approaches.
• Provide education for patients and families to boost progress beyond the clinic.
• Perform occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout the treatment continuum.
• Keep precise and timely documentation in accordance with applicable laws and organizational directives.
• Engage in continual learning to stay abreast of advancements in the field via professional development and peer collaborations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for candidates not yet ASHA-certified.

Required Credentials

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days post-hire.
