Extreme Demolition & Land Clearing, LLC, a Southwest Florida demolition, land clearing and site development contractor, is seeking an experienced and dependable Pipe Foreman to lead underground utility installation projects throughout Southwest Florida.  This position is responsible for supervising a pipe crew, coordinating daily field operations, setting grades, operating survey equipment, and ensuring all underground utility work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and specifications.  The ideal candidate is a strong leader who leads by example, values safety, and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship while maintaining production schedules.

Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise a pipe crew installing water, sewer, storm drain, and underground utility systems.
• Set up and operate transit and grade equipment to establish accurate elevations and pipe alignment.
• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, utility profiles, and specifications.
• Shoot grades and verify elevations throughout all phases of installation.

• Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Oversee trench excavation, pipe installation, bedding, backfill, and compaction.
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and manpower to maximize productivity.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and project specifications are met.
• Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Communicate daily with the Superintendent regarding production, scheduling, material needs, and job progress.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and company vehicles, reporting maintenance concerns promptly.
• Mentor and train crew members while promoting teamwork and accountability.

• Maintain a professional attitude while representing the company on customer job sites.

• Complete all required documentation, including daily reports and production tracking.

Position Requirements
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience installing underground utilities, including water, sewer, and storm drainage systems.

• Previous experience leading and supervising a pipe crew.
• Strong knowledge of underground utility construction methods and safety practices.
• Ability to set up transit equipment and accurately shoot grades.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and utility drawings.
• Experience coordinating heavy equipment operations and utility installation sequencing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.  
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly.  

• Valid driver's license required.

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
