Make a meaningful impact by supporting elementary students in a contract social work position focused on emotional support for grades K-4. This full-time, onsite assignment is set in a caring school community near Clarks Summit, and runs through June 2027. Your expertise will provide guidance and stability for young learners, helping them manage social, emotional, and behavioral challenges to achieve their fullest potential.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active license or certification as a School Social Worker
• Experience in a school setting preferred, especially with elementary-aged children
• Knowledge and understanding of emotional and behavioral support strategies for grades K-4
• Strong communication, advocacy, and case management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and staff
• Compassion, adaptability, and a deep commitment to student success

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to promote healthy emotional development
• Assist in developing and implementing behavioral plans tailored for students receiving emotional support
• Serve as a resource and advocate for students, facilitating connections between school, families, and community resources
• Participate in team meetings, IEP planning, and professional development activities
• Maintain records and provide progress updates for students on your caseload
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment
