Data Entry Specialist - Anchorage, AK Location: Anchorage, AK, US, 99503 Summary HMS is hiring Data Entry Specialists. The role involves manual entry of medical claims into the DHS MMIS system and efficient mail preparation for RTP (Returned to Provider) letters. Your role in our mission Accurately capture data from medical claims and attachments to process documents within a data capture solution Verify and review data Work with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word and Outlook Cross‑train with other departments, such as mail room and document control Meet established production and quality standards Support all departmental initiatives to improve overall efficiency What we're looking for Strong attention to detail Typing speed of 50 WPM and basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook One to two years of data entry experience Proficient keyboarding skills, including efficient use of the 10‑key pad Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations What you should expect in this role This is an on‑site position in the Anchorage, AK office. Pay range: $31,200 – $44,500 per year. Base pay may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
