Systems Engineer - Level 5 Location: Chandler, AZ Relocation Assistance: None Clearance Required for Start: Yes Clearance Type: Secret Travel: 10% of the time Description Lead design and development of system architectures and key capabilities for advanced aerospace solutions. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to define system requirements, interfaces, and operational concepts. Essential Functions Assist in development of system architectures. Support flight‑test specific verification efforts. Develop architecture, CONOPS, and use cases using model‑based systems engineering methodologies. Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Perform system requirements analysis. Develop automation workflows of multi‑disciplined functional processes to support engineering and business processes. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of related experience, OR Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline with 10 years of related experience, or PhD with 8 years of related experience. Active DoD Government Secret Security Clearance. Preferred Qualifications Degree in aerospace, mechanical, systems, or software engineering with experience using model‑based systems engineering. Experience in the military aerospace development environment. Benefits & Compensation Salary Range: $152,900.00 – $229,300.00 (base salary) Additional compensation may include overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses, and long‑term incentives for senior positions.
