About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced (mid to senior level) Contracts Manager to support both prime contracts and subcontracts in a fast‑paced government‑contracting environment. This role is ideal for someone who excels at balancing compliance, negotiation, and relationship‑building, while keeping programs running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Administer the full lifecycle of prime contracts and subcontracts, from award through closeout.
• Review, negotiate, and manage contract and subcontract terms, modifications, and flow‑downs.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, agency supplements, and internal policies.
• Coordinate with Program Management, Finance, Security, and Supply Chain to ensure contractual requirements are understood and met.
• Cost proposal support including RFP review, document preparation/redlines, flow-downs, risk analysis, teammate communication, and compliance
• Monitor funding and contractual obligations.
• Work closely with program and finance teams on funding strategy, deliverables, performance, and reporting.
• Maintain accurate contract files and Unanet GovCon system.
• Assist with internal/external audits.
• Serve as a key point of contact for government COs, primes, subs, and internal stakeholders.

Senior level can also expect to do the following:

• Lead contract strategy, negotiation, and execution for high‑value federal programs.
• Advise executives and program leadership on contractual risk, pricing, and compliance.
• Manage relationships with government COs, prime contractors, subcontractors, legal counsel, and auditors.
• Drive audit readiness and support CPSR, DCAA, DCMA, and internal reviews.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, contract management, or related field.
• Government Contract Management experience:

• • For mid-level: 5+ years
  • For senior level: 10+ years

• Experience supervising / managing / mentoring contracting staff.
• Strong understanding of FAR/DFARS and subcontract administration.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating contractual terms.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strongly Preferred: Experience supporting DoD, IC, or federal civilian agencies; familiarity with CPSR environments; understanding of CUI/NISPOM requirements.

Senior level should also possess:

• Demonstrated success negotiating complex contract terms and handling high‑visibility programs.
• Experience managing subcontract portfolios and leading contract professionals.
• Exceptional communication and executive‑level briefing skills.

Clearance : TS/SCI with appropriate level poly required (current/active strongly preferred)

• Salary ranges: mid-level $130k to $170k; senior level $160k to $200k
• Telework/hybrid work schedule: this opportunity will offer some level of telework but candidates must be willing/able to report to office space when required
