Work Environment

The successful candidate will join a supportive, collaborative team in our Rehabilitation Center, where you will have access to cutting-edge medical equipment and therapeutic tools. Work hours typically range from Monday to Friday, with a rotating shift every other weekend, allowing for a balanced work-life scenario.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities stemming from injuries, diseases, or other factors.
• Set achievable patient goals and meticulously plan and execute tailored treatment programs in accordance with Orthopedic physicians' instructions.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and charges, ensuring they reflect the skilled therapeutic interventions provided.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and support staff in delivering effective patient care while promoting functional improvements.
• Engage regularly with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists (OTs), and speech-language pathologists (SLPs), to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
• Offer constructive feedback to the administration to enhance departmental productivity and foster professional development opportunities within the facility.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems is required to manage documentation efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience in a Physical Therapy setting is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
