Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations, utilizing established assessment tools to determine their rehabilitation needs.

• Develop personalized treatment plans based on physician recommendations and patient goals, incorporating a variety of therapeutic interventions and modalities.

• Implement treatment strategies, monitor patient progress, and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery and functional independence.

• Document all patient interactions, treatment sessions, and progress notes meticulously to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

• Provide supervision and guidance to physical therapy assistants (PTAs) and support personnel to ensure cohesive and effective patient care delivery.

• Interact with a diverse range of healthcare professionals to coordinate care and address any multidisciplinary concerns surrounding patient treatment.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and training sessions to stay current with the latest physical therapy practices and innovations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a varied patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, neurological conditions, chronic pain, and age-related mobility issues. Qualifications

• Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia is required.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to effectively engage with patients and communicate with team members.

• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other clinical documentation tools to manage patient information.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in rehabilitation or outpatient therapy, is highly desirable.

• Experience with specialized therapeutic techniques or certifications (e.g., dry needling, sports therapy) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This Full-Time Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
