Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite within our vibrant rehabilitation center, where you will collaborate closely with a team of two fellow physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our work schedule operates from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and address the individual needs and rehabilitation goals of each patient through thorough assessments.
• Manage a patient load of 2-3 individuals per hour, ensuring attentive and high-quality care.
• Design and implement effective treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to enhance movement and function.
• Educate patients on appropriate exercises and techniques to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other health professionals to create comprehensive care strategies, promoting interdisciplinary communication.
• Monitor treatment progress, adapting plans as necessary to align with patients' evolving needs.
• Maintain precise documentation of patient evaluations and treatment records using EMR software like WebPT.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their treatment processes, helping them stay engaged and focused on recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients seeking orthopedic outpatient care. We cater to a diverse clientele, including athletes of all levels, weekend warriors, and those recovering from injuries or surgeries. By offering tailored rehabilitation services, we aim to empower each individual to lead healthier and more active lives while minimizing the need for prescription drugs and exploring non-surgical alternatives.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia, with no disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques as well as a solid understanding of physical therapy modalities.
• Experience in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of one year of professional experience in orthopedic outpatient care, with a demonstrated ability to manage patient rehabilitation successfully.
• Experience working collaboratively within a team of healthcare professionals to deliver cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
• Familiarity with sports rehabilitation techniques and protocols is a plus, as we frequently engage with athletes in recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package. This includes healthcare coverage, paid time off, retirement savings plans, and opportunities for professional development.
