Body Holistics Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team in Norfolk, Virginia. This full-time position is set in an engaging outpatient rehabilitation facility, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing patients' mobility, restoring function, and significantly improving their quality of life. As a Physical Therapist, you will develop tailored treatment plans while engaging with patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Work Environment

You will be working onsite in our Norfolk facility, which features advanced rehabilitation technologies and a welcoming atmosphere designed for patient comfort and effective treatment. Our typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, with two shift options from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, which allows for a balanced professional and personal life. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other healthcare professionals, further enhancing the patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized, evidence-based physical therapy care that addresses the unique needs and goals of each patient.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, ensuring dedicated time for thorough assessments and treatments.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans using a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques.
• Utilize a combination of hands-on treatments and prescribed exercise programs to enhance mobility and overall function.
• Educate patients about injury prevention, rehabilitation, and the importance of non-surgical alternatives.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation process, celebrating progress and milestones.
• Utilize effective communication to document patient progress accurately and maintain comprehensive records using EMR software, specifically WebPT.
• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions, modifying care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare practitioners to provide holistic, well-rounded care to patients.

Qualifications

• Eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia, with an active PT license free of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program is required.
• Exceptional clinical knowledge of current physical therapy techniques and concepts supported by research.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and effective exercise program design.
• Ability to effectively use EMR software, specifically WebPT, for thorough documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A track record of successful outcomes in orthopedic outpatient care.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including athletes and individuals with chronic pain.
• Prior experience within a rehabilitation or outpatient clinic setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
