Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient conditions and create individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that promote healing, pain relief, and restoration of mobility.
• Deliver diverse care, catering to patients with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine concerns.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every patient feels valued and understood during their recovery process.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and coordinate treatment goals.
• Effectively educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, home exercises, and injury prevention strategies.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet functional objectives.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatment sessions and progress notes in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active State License in Physical Therapy required to practice in Virginia.
• Minimum of two years of practical experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably with a focus on orthopedics.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
