The Evolution Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Norfolk, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for patients, analyzing their orthopedic conditions and mobility limitations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments that align with their recovery goals.
• Utilize evidence-based practice to guide interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and pain management strategies.
• Regularly reassess patient progress, documenting clinical findings, treatment outcomes, and modifications to care plans as needed using our electronic health record system.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, recovery timelines, and strategies to maintain mobility and manage pain effectively.
• Meet organizational utilization goals and other performance metrics while ensuring high-quality care delivery.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, sharing insights with colleagues in other specialties to optimize patient care for those utilizing multiple therapeutic services.
• Champion our clinic's values and culture, serving as a mentor and example for new team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on treating a diverse patient population, including children and adults facing orthopedic challenges, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. By approaching each case with empathy and understanding, you will help patients from varied backgrounds achieve their functional goals and enhance their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited physical therapy program is required.
• Current and unrestricted physical therapy licensure in Virginia.
• Proficiency in conducting both in-person and telehealth evaluations and treatments.
• A strong commitment to working with patients from diverse age groups and cultural backgrounds.
• Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment.
• Exceptional teamwork, communication, and customer service skills that contribute to a positive patient experience.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a rehabilitation center or hospital setting focusing on orthopedic care is preferred.
• Experience with electronic health record systems to streamline documentation processes.
• A background in rehabilitation strategies for specific populations, including geriatric or pediatric patients, is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
