You will play a critical role in promoting recovery, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation for our patient population.

The Skeletal Orthopedic Sports Rehab Clinic is a premier orthopedic outpatient physical therapy practice situated in a state-of-the-art 5,000 square feet facility. Our clinic is well-equipped to provide comprehensive care for patients primarily covered by private medical insurance. Work Environment

This position is an onsite role within our engaging and collaborative clinic atmosphere. You will work closely with a dedicated team, consisting of two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), in a modern home care setting optimized for effective therapy sessions. Daily operations are designed to foster teamwork, learning, and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to understand their specific goals, needs, and conditions.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized and effective treatment.
• Utilize your experience in orthopedic outpatient care to devise and implement tailored treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based interventions and rehabilitation strategies focused on improving clients' mobility and function.
• Promote non-pharmacological treatment options, reducing reliance on medication through innovative therapy techniques.
• Design individualized fitness and wellness programs that align with patients' rehabilitation objectives.
• Engage patients actively throughout the therapeutic process to encourage motivation and commitment to their treatment plans.
• Continually assess treatment effectiveness, document patient progress, and maintain open communication.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop a holistic approach to patient care.
• Stay updated with advancements in physical therapy methodologies and apply them in practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population seeking rehabilitation for various orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain. We focus on personalizing care to meet each patient's unique lifestyle, goals, and functional needs, which empowers them to actively participate in their own healing process.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license, with no disciplinary actions or board actions recorded.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design and implementation.
• Keen knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an orthopedic setting.
• Experience in applying evidence-based practices and innovative treatment approaches.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
