Work Environment

The role is based onsite, where you will work directly with patients in a controlled and supportive setting. Your work schedule will typically be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. The patient caseload is manageable, averaging 1-2 patients per hour, which enables you to give each individual the attention they deserve.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Haywards, your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough screenings and evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and therapeutic needs.
• Designing and implementing effective individualized treatment plans that promote recovery from orthopedic injuries.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment methods as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain, and mobility challenges. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from a program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Virginia.
• A valid American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card.
• Proficiency in safely operating physical therapy equipment and conducting basic functional evaluations.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
