HR Specialist

HR Specialist – Hybrid Onsite, Silver Spring, MD Everforth ECS is seeking an HR Specialist to support the NOAA Office of Marine Aviation Operations and the NOAA Corps Commissioned Personnel Center (CPC). The role involves providing administrative support to all human resources activities necessary to support NOAA Commissioned Corps officers, both active duty and retired. Responsibilities Maintain and organize employment records and process paperwork to ensure all required information is complete. Perform technical work in support of processing personnel actions such as promotions, benefits, reassignments, retirements and separations. Conduct in‑ and out‑processing of personnel and assist employees in completing, maintaining and updating forms. Input and/or extract employment data and maintain personnel data and records. Provide advice and guidance for benefits and human resources actions. Qualifications Must have at least an Associate’s degree. Must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. At least five years of experience in administrative support, human resource systems, and personnel systems support. Must be well organized with a specific focus on details. Must be able to effectively communicate specialized information orally and in writing. Desired Skills Knowledge/familiarity with DOD, USCG, military and/or personnel support, and travel support for active duty and retired uniformed service members.
