Barista Responsibilities Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service. Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks. Prepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standards. Work all café positions—cross‑trained in kitchen, cashier, and, if available, drive‑thru. Keep our space clean, safe, and ready for guests and teammates. Our baristas have the opportunity to learn the entirety of our business: Cashier – Point of Sale Expo – Inside & Outside Order Taking Working the Drive‑Thru (if available) Supporting Third‑Party Delivery & Online Orders Back of House – Cooking & Prepping Barista Traits Gregarious – you love people, conversation, and sharing great coffee moments. Hospitable – you make everyone who walks in feel like an old friend. Accommodating – you find ways to make each guest’s day better. Competitive – you’re always striving to be your best – every shift, every transaction. Energetic – your positive energy fills the café and lifts everyone around you. Available – you can work at least 22 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. Qualifications 1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality (preferred). Passion for great coffee and exceptional guest service. Strong communicator with a positive, solution‑oriented attitude. Reliable, punctual, and available for nights, weekends, and holidays. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Compensation & Benefits Base pay: $17 per hour. + Tips averaging approximately $4.00 per hour (may vary).
