Inspire. Grow. Midas Auto Service Experts is seeking an experienced, results-driven Automotive Store Manager to lead the daily operations of our high-volume, full-service automotive repair facility. Key Responsibilities As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the business, including operations, financial performance, employee development, and customer satisfaction. Leadership & Team Development Recruit, hire, train, coach, and mentor Service Advisors and Automotive Technicians. Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture. Conduct employee evaluations, scheduling, payroll, and performance management. Lead by example and promote professionalism, teamwork, and integrity. Customer Experience Deliver exceptional customer service by listening to customer concerns and providing honest repair recommendations. Prepare and explain repair estimates with confidence and transparency. Follow up with customers regarding repair status, completion times, and satisfaction. Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally. Shop Operations Oversee technician inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles. Ensure repairs are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. Monitor technician productivity, efficiency, and quality of work. Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA/EPA-compliant facility. Ensure all company policies, procedures, and safety standards are followed. Business & Financial Performance Drive revenue growth while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Increase Average Repair Order (ARO), car count, and gross profit. Manage inventory, purchasing, and inventory control. Monitor labor costs, expenses, and overall store profitability. Analyze financial reports and P&L statements to improve business performance. Submit daily sales and operational reports. Qualifications Required Minimum 5 years of Automotive Store Manager or Automotive Service Manager experience Strong knowledge of automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance Proven experience managing Service Advisors and Automotive Technicians Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills Excellent customer service, communication, and sales abilities Experience managing sales, labor, inventory, and profitability Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with POS systems, estimating software, and Microsoft Office Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Preferred ASE Certifications College coursework or degree in Business Management or Automotive Technology Experience with shop management software such as Mitchell 1, RO Writer, Tekmetric, Shop-Ware, or similar Experience with Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs) Performance Expectations Success in this role is measured by your ability to: Increase monthly sales and profitability Grow Average Repair Order (ARO) Increase customer retention and satisfaction Improve technician productivity and efficiency Control labor and inventory costs Maintain strong online customer reviews Build and retain a high-performing team Achieve monthly and annual business goals Compensation & Benefits We reward performance and invest in our team.
