This opportunity has arisen due to an internal promotion, reflecting the strength of the organisation and the career development on offer.This is a high-profile leadership role, based in Leeds city centre, with responsibility for leading the commercial finance function and delivering the insight, analysis and financial information needed to support better strategic decision-making across the business.The successful candidate will play a key role in driving commercial performance through the ownership of budgets, forecasting, reporting and business partnering, while also leading the team responsible for collating and producing this critical information.Key responsibilities will include:Leading the commercial finance function, ensuring delivery of high-quality insight and analysisOwning the budgeting and forecasting processes across the businessProviding meaningful financial information to support strategic and operational decision-makingActing as a true business partner to senior stakeholders across the organisationLeading, developing and mentoring the team responsible for commercial finance reporting and analysisDriving continuous improvement in reporting, planning and performance management processesSupporting the business in identifying risks, opportunities and areas for improved commercial performanceAbout you:Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Extensive commercial finance experience gained in a large or complex environmentProven track record of budgeting, forecasting and high-level business partneringStrong leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teamsExcellent communication skills, with the credibility to influence senior stakeholdersCommercially astute, analytical and focused on adding value through financeWhat's on offer:Salary of 120,000 - 140,000 plus packageHybrid workingLeeds city centre officeOpportunity to join a well-known and highly regarded businessSenior leadership role with significant visibility and impactRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
