About the Role Position Details: Job Title: Tech Lead - Java Developer Location: Columbus, OH or Plano, TX (Onsite - 5 Days/Week) Job Overview: Required Technical Skills 10-12+ years of experience in software development and technical leadership. Strong hands-on experience with Java and Java-based microservices. Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud-native architecture. Good experience with PostgreSQL/database design, migration, and optimization. Strong understanding of REST APIs, distributed systems, and microservices architecture. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation. Good understanding of QA automation tools and continuous testing practices. Experience in legacy application modernization and cloud migration projects. Strong understanding of application performance, scalability, availability, and resiliency. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. Key Responsibilities Define and implement Java-based microservices architecture and support UI transformation initiatives. Drive application decomposition, service design, API integration, and cloud-native architecture. Lead PostgreSQL database migration, optimization, and data integration activities. Design and implement scalable, highly available, and resilient AWS solutions. Drive CI/CD, DevOps automation, infrastructure automation, and deployment processes. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Java, AWS, QA, and DevOps team members. Collaborate with architects, product owners, business teams, and other engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. Location Columbus, OH or Plano, TX Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $140,000-$170,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
