Associate Attorney - Family Law

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in Family Law for their office in Roseville, California. This full-time position offers the opportunity to manage cases from inception through resolution, providing substantial hands-on litigation experience. Duties Conduct initial client consultations and meetings. Manage assigned family law cases from start to finish. Draft pleadings, declarations, and related filings. Conduct legal research and factual analysis. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff. Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and trials. Participate in and conduct divorce mediation. Draft and respond to written discovery. Evaluate discovery responses for sufficiency. Maintain accurate case management records and deadlines. Requirements 1-3 years of family law experience preferred. Active membership in the California State Bar. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. Experience drafting legal documents and memoranda. Knowledge of California Rules of Court and Family Code. Experience appearing as principal counsel in court proceedings. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365. Experience with legal case management systems. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications California Bar License. Skills Strong organizational and case management skills. Familiarity with X-Spouse software is a plus. Benefits 401(k) plan.
