Senior Software Data Architect

Leading the architecture and development of next-generation data platforms, the full-time remote Senior Software Data Architect will define enterprise data solutions, drive the creation of scalable data pipelines, and ensure data governance while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities: Define and lead the architecture of enterprise-scale data platforms, including lakehouse and data warehouse solutions Design and implement secure, high-performance data pipelines utilizing Databricks and modern cloud architectures Establish data governance frameworks and ensure data quality across platforms Required qualifications: 15+ years of experience in software engineering and data architecture, with at least 5+ years in a senior or lead role Proven expertise in designing enterprise data platforms using Databricks and modern lakehouse architectures Strong experience with distributed data processing and technologies such as Spark SQL and Python Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology
