ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for a Resource position for the 2026–2027 school year in Indianapolis, IN. This full-time opportunity allows you to support middle school students with mild to moderate disabilities while collaborating with a dedicated educational team committed to student success.

Work Schedule:

• Full-Time

• 7:50 AM – 3:20 PM

• 2026–2027 School Year

• Middle School Resource Classroom

Qualifications:

• Active Indiana Mild/Moderate Intervention Licensure

• Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

• Knowledge of special education compliance, IEP development, and implementation

• Ability to create structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environments

• Commitment to supporting students with diverse academic and behavioral needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and Indiana Academic Standards

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Collaborate with families, related service providers, administrators, and general education staff

• Deliver resource services through push-in and/or pull-out instruction

• Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth

• Collect and maintain accurate student progress data and documentation

• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration

• Create a structured, positive, and inclusive learning environment

Classroom Assignment:

• Middle School Resource

• Mild to Moderate Intervention

• Full-Time

• Daily Schedule: 7:50 AM – 3:20 PM
