Patient Services CoordinatorFairview has an immediate opening for a Patient Services Coordinator at the M Health Fairview Wyoming Clinic.This position is approved for 56 hours every two weeks.Week 1:Monday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PMWednesday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PMFriday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PMWeek 2:Monday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PMTuesday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMWednesday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PMFriday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PMThe Patient Services Coordinator performs a variety of clerical functions to support the provider and patient care staff. The Patient Services Coordinator is responsible to ensure patient medical records and reports are available as needed and prepares applicable medical record forms. Relays messages to and from physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other resources necessary for patient care.Coordinates activities of care team to support provider and patient care staff.Performs telephone message taking and directs communication in a timely fashion.Requests/obtains patient reports as necessary.Effectively uses communication systems for both routine and emergency transactions.Coordinates communication between care team and outside resources.Enters refills.Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.Customer service skills and standardsInterpreter and special need servicesOperation of office equipment and computer programs.Fairview Clinic policies and procedures.Ability to accept cultural differencesCommunication skillsConflict management skillsTime management skillsAbility to collect and transfer data to forms as appropriate.Required Qualifications:High School diploma or GED1 year experienceExcellent public relations and communication skillsGood telephone and computer skillsMust be flexibleMust be efficientPreferred Qualifications:3 years experienceWillingness to work at other sitesKnowledge of medical terminologyFairview offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, PTO/vacation and Safe and Sick Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement and more!
