We are seeking an accounting clerk, handles daily financial transactions, updates ledgers, and manages documents. Core duties include accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining financial records, assissts with inventory functions, Temp to hire Offering $22-25/hr. Key Responsibilities

• Data Entry: Post daily financial transactions, receipts, and payments into accounting software.
• Accounts Payable: Match vendor invoices with purchase orders, record transactions and issue payments.
• Accounts Receivable: Process customer invoices, apply payments, track customer balances and follow up on unpaid/late accounts.
• Reconciliation: Match bank statements and general ledgers to find and fix errors.
• Reporting: Compile basic financial summaries, expense reports, and audit documents.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in an accounting or administrative role.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree in accounting is preferred by larger companies.
• Software Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and bookkeeping software like QuickBooks or any other accounting software.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in math and data handling to prevent financial discrepancies.
• Organization: Ability to maintain physical and digital filing systems securely and confidentially.
