Senior Manager, Accounts Payable

Location: West Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)

Salary: $115,000–$145,000

Our client, a growing publicly traded organization, is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Accounts Payable to join its finance leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, complex environment and is passionate about building scalable processes, developing teams, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor the Accounts Payable team, fostering accountability and continuous development.
• Oversee daily AP operations, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing and payment execution.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and reduce errors.
• Develop, monitor, and report on KPIs and service level metrics.
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Treasury, Procurement, and other business leaders to improve workflows.
• Support organizational growth initiatives, including acquisitions, entity integrations, and future system implementations.
• Analyze AP data to identify trends, improve reporting, and drive operational decisions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting best practices.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 7 years of progressive Accounts Payable experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Proven experience managing high-volume Accounts Payable operations.
• Experience leading and developing teams in a multi-entity environment.
• Strong process improvement and change management skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
• Public company experience.
• Exposure to international Accounts Payable operations.
• Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions or entity integrations.
• ERP implementation or system migration experience.
