Description – What You Will Do

• Carry out standard and advanced clinical laboratory assessments including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and other essential tests, adhering strictly to established protocols.
• Critically evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure lab instruments are properly maintained and calibrated.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, assist in training new staff or students, and contribute to the maintenance of high lab quality standards.
• Uphold a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all relevant regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification as a condition of employment.
