Sr Project Manager

A Senior Project Manager at Trade School doesn’t just write timelines and send out status reports – they’re a leader who drives the work forward, facilitates team communication and maintains meticulous care of project budgets. And when there’s confusion, a Senior Project Manager sees a path through the fog and can define next steps and a timeline to success. RESPONSIBILITIES Take initiative and ownership of projects of varying scale, collaborating with both internal and external partners to drive progress with proactive solutions Partner with Account and Resource Management at project kickoff to define the project scope - including hours, team, timeline, and budget - and monitor progress throughout to ensure on-time delivery and financial health Act as a central source of truth for the project, recognizing when things are unclear and helping teams realign around goals and next steps Oversee progress across multiple other projects, supporting junior staff to meet objectives and maintain agency and client standards Partner with Program Management and client leads to write and rollout processes, then ensure those processes are communicated clearly and adopted by teams Anticipate and track risks across all factors (team, finances, timeline, etc.) and escalation to internal and external stakeholders as needed, while recommending ways to mitigate those risks Facilitate cross-functional communication to ensure subject matter experts and senior leadership are brought in at key strategic moments Manages projects in all agency tools including our project management tool as well as Slack and G-Suite Support the development of junior project management and “hybrid” staff through training, mentorship, and (when possible) direct management DESIRED REQUIREMENTS 6+ years of project management experience, specifically in advertising or marketing and ideally live-action campaign production Comfort working independently as a self-starter but also leading project teams Comfort presenting to and engaging with senior stakeholders both internally and client-side Ability to think critically and find creative solutions to project challenges, rather than just executing pre-defined timelines Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
