Inside Sales Administrator

Employment Solutions is partnering with a growing company to hire an Inside Sales Administrator for their Indianapolis office. This is a full-time, direct hire inside sales and customer service role at the center of a small, collaborative team where you will keep customers cared for, orders moving, and the office running smoothly. If you are organized, proactive, and enjoy variety in your day, this one covers a bit of everything: order management, customer support, logistics coordination, inventory management, purchasing, sales support , light finance tasks, and office administration . You will work closely with the external sales team to help grow accounts and hit territory targets, reporting to the General Manager.
What you will do:
- Manage the full customer order process from quotation and order entry through delivery, invoicing, and updates
- Handle customer service queries on orders, stock availability, and delivery status, and follow through to resolution
- Coordinate delivery scheduling and book freight or carriers to meet customer needs ( logistics coordination )
- Monitor inventory levels and raise or escalate purchase orders based on demand
- Support payment follow-up and month-end account queries
- Prepare quotations, price lists, samples, and reports, and provide sales support to the external team on meetings and planning
- Proactively contact customers and prospects to support account growth and pipeline development
- Provide general office administration , including phones, mail, check deposits, and operations support
What we are looking for:
- 3+ years of inside sales administration or customer support experience, ideally in the packaging industry
- Previous office administration experience (phones, mail, supplies, general support)
- Strong written and verbal communication and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office ; HubSpot and SAP Business One experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Schedule and details:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
- 100% onsite in Indianapolis
- Reports to the General Manager
- Occasional international travel
- Direct hire with a 90-day initial period; commission plan begins after successful probation
Compensation and benefits:
- $60,000 to $65,000 base salary
- Commission plan after probation
- 25 vacation days plus 9 federal paid holidays per year
- 401(k) retirement plan (eligible after 90 days)
